Awwwwww!!!

Jacob and I were having dinner at Macaroni Grill. They have the wine bottle honor system where you pour your own. Jake was nervous and the wine was flowing. He went "to the bathroom" and met up with our waiter to make the proposal great. All the way through the meal, I am thinking, "I really am going to have to drive home." Right when I was expecting my cheesecake to come out, three waiters with flowers came out with a plate. On it was an open ring box surrounded by flower petals. I just stared open mouthed as my drunken sweetie got down on one knee in front of the whole resteraunt and asked me to marry him. The whole place breathed a simultaneous "Awwwww". I was still open mouthed at this point when my honey started to put the ring on the wrong hand. Without thinking, I said, "No" meaning wrong hand. Jacob looked startled for approx 10 seconds before I realized what was wrong. "No honey, wrong hand" came out of my mouth shortly thereafter. I leaned over and gave him a big kiss and everyone in the resteraunt began to clap. It was really great because for the next few minutes, several ladies stopped by our table to ask to see the ring! I did wind up driving by the way. Jake and I are getting married in September of this year.
